Device specific handling

Oscillator settings

The oscillator frequency must be set according to the assembled oscillator on the pcb.

Connect

The Mode pin must be connected to enter the bootloader mode. Please attach the devices according to the wiring diagrams.

Reset

The device is reset via RST pin.

Interface mode

The bootloader supports two interface types:

  • Asynchronous UART interface
  • Synchronous SPI interface

The faster SPI interface is selected by default.

Verify mode

The device supports 3 verify modes:

  • Normal; Byte by byte verify (slowest but most reliable mode)
  • CRC: CRC based checksum (fast and reliable mode)
  • Arithmetic checksum: (very fast but less reliable mode)
